SHM has been supplying, installing, and commissioning Lifeboat & Davit Systems to shipyards and offshore installations for nearly 2 decades, locally and all over Asia and Middle east. Our range comprises of Lifeboats, Rescue boats, Davits & Winches, and Release Gears of over 30 global manufacturers.
We offer totally enclosed lifeboats, Free fall boats, partially enclosed boats along with suitable davit systems designed and tested in accordance with the latest IMO/SOLAS regulations and with new on-load release hooks approved according to resolution MSC.320 (89), and resolution MSC.321 (89), which are better secured against accidental release. They come in two versions, tanker or dry cargo.
Apart from above, SHM’s fleet of fast rescue boats are made of FRP and have a special design that ensures excellent maneuverability, great speeds, and stability, even in rough sea conditions, allowing them to perform efficient rescue operations. They come with both outboard petrol and inboard diesel engine options, designed and manufactured according to IMO/SOLAS requirements, and are approved in accordance with the EC Marine Equipment Directive (Wheel Mark).
SHM’S Safin 420 is one of the first inflatable rescue boat to be awarded the EC/MED certification, designed for maritime rescue applications as per the SOLAS conventions and LSA code 96. SHM’s Safin 420 meets industry’s highest safety regulations and is tested as per IMO MSC. Constructed with lightweight, UV resistant Hypalon neoprene coated fabrics, Safin 420 features weather, puncture and abrasion resistance. Safin 420 is fitted with all standard safety equipment as mandated by IMO.
