SHM Shipcare was established in 2001 with the core vision of making lives safe at sea. Holding a strong foot into our 3rd decade, we at SHM, have tirelessly worked to embrace 3 key strengths-Consistency, quality and timely deliveries in the sector of marine safety and survival systems. We strive to offer peace of mind- at sea, offshore and onshore to our clients.

Our network is well established along the Malaysian coasts across Peninsular & East Malaysia and 15 major port cities in India, Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai and Colombo.

MANUFACTURING

Established over 60,000 square feet of factory production facility, SHM manufactures a diverse range of Maritime and offshore safety equipment, FRP hull boats, personal protective equipment, lifesaving appliances, safety equipment, IMO signs and symbols and lifeboat survival kits, to make sailing and sea trade a seamless experience for our clients.

Our robust FRP hull boats cater to ports, military, healthcare, luxury & sports sectors.

Malaysia is SHM Group’s biggest and busiest distribution & servicing hubs, passionately serving South East Asian and APAC regions.

SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION

SHM Shipcare Sdn Bhd is a bumiputera Malaysian company that has been in business since 2014. In a short time, it’s grown to be the largest distribution hub for its group of companies and is steadily expanding its offices to all the major ports of Malaysia. With our well spread supply centres and strong business partnerships, we can cater to our clients all over peninsular & east Malaysia at any time or location.

SHM Malaysia is an approved Petronas vendor, registered with CIDB, MoF, DOSH, all IACS classification societies, maritime flag states of Panama, Bahamas and Liberia. In a short time, SHM Malaysia has grown to be a reputable supply and service provider with strong focus on timely deliveries and client satisfaction.

SERVICE & REPAIR

Safety is non-negotiable and it’s deeply set in our company ethics and culture. SHM Malaysia has a committed technical team of service engineers, naval architects, expert in-field technical staff who thrive under diverse challenges and environments, on-shore and off-shore.

With its steadily expanding and state-of-the-art service centres at Klang and Kemaman, SHM Shipcare Malaysia is one of the most promising and reliable names in maintenance, annual & 5 yearly inspections and servicing for lifeboats, life rafts, lifesaving & firefighting equipment.

TURNKEY

SHM Malaysia specializes in holistic safety needs, on-shore & off shore by covering the complete engineering, procurement, manufacturing to commissioning (EPC) of life saving & fire- fighting systems and boat building projects.

Over the past several years, we have reliably completed turnkey projects for DCP Skids, Deluge Valve Systems, CO2 Systems, FM200 Systems, Lifeboat & Davit Systems, Foam Water Hose Reel Systems, Modular Fire Detection Systems, etc. for clients such as Royal Malaysian Navy, Labuan Shipyard, Sapura energy, MMHE, Eaglestar, IPC, ONGC, L&T, Tata Power, HPCL, and many more.
