SHM strives to enable proper functioning of survival systems and improving safety standards on vessels. Our Lifeboat, Rescue Boat & Davit Systems Services include:
We can execute annual & 5 yearly inspection, repair, maintenance services for all kinds of lifeboats in Malaysia within 24 hours, in accordance to IMO MSC Circ. 402(96)/. Our service stations are equipped to conduct load tests and on-voyage repairs. We are authorized by over 27 manufacturers & recognized by all major classification societies
Our advanced & ever upgrading service stations and repair facilities are well equipped to carry out complete servicing, overhaul, and repair of Engine & Sprinkler Systems, FRP Hull & Body, Release Gear, Davit & Winch, Fall Wire renewal, Hydrostatic testing and refilling of compressed air systems. We also offer replacement equipment for hire during the overhaul stage, subject to availability.
We offer Survival Crafts, Rescue Boats and their launching appliances designed to meet your specific requirements, guaranteed with the manufacturer’s after-sales service support and genuine spare parts.
SHM offers annual & 5-yearly inspection and maintenance routines of all rigid and inflatable rescue boats in accordance to IMO MSC Circ. 402(96). We also offer an additional pressure test of the buoyancy chamber of the inflatable rescue boat as per manufacturer’s guidelines.
SHM Shipcare offers seminars and courses for seafarers and offshore personnel on the proper maintenance of Lifeboat and Davit Systems. We also design and implement these courses to specific needs.
