SHM Shipcare Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian Bumiputera company established in 2014 and is nearly finishing a decade of expertise in business within Malaysia & the rest of APAC.

Progressing fast in the region, we have made a mark by establishing highest industry standards matching ISO 45001:2018, OHSAS and DOSH. We are a registered Petronas vendor and operate closely with ministry of Finance (MoF) and CIDB Malaysia.

SHM Fire safety is instrumental as manufacturer and supplier of wide specifications of fire safety equipment. The products offered include a comprehensive range of fire detection accessories, fire extinguishers, fire extinguishing equipment and fireman safety equipment. We are best known for our unique specialisation in catering to off shore projects pertaining to turnkey implementation of fire protection and detection systems such as clean agent systems, CO2 flooding systems, DCP Skids and deluge systems.

SHM Engineering

SHM engineering offers over three and a half decades of expertise in carrying out major ship repairs of all flags and class. We offer state of the art ship repair facility capable of carrying out repairs in drydocks, wet basin and in-stream. Our management & service cadres comprise of qualified master mariners, first class marine engineers and ex naval officers with vast & diverse experience in carrying out repairs pertaining to Hull, Engine & Propulsion, Power generation and Electrical and Steel renewal of a major and minor nature.

Datuk Huzefa Bin Zainuddin

Co-Founder & Director- SHM Shipcare Sdn. Bhd.

Datuk Huzefa is an innovator & entrepreneur with 20 years of experience. He holds a keen expertise of business & business functions in Malaysia. As a leader, he is an effective motivator who identifies & leverages assets in people and the organisation.

Beyond work, Datuk Huzafa has a strong connection to social work & local charities. He firmly believes in helping and betterment of the needy.

Avnish Sharma

General Manager – APAC, SHM Group

Avnish joined SHM Shipcare in 2009, after his B.Tech. in Marine engineering from BITS Pilani and sailing with Shell. Over the past 13 years with SHM, Avnish has been responsible in growing the company globally into Singapore and now in APAC. He completed his global executive MBA with Insead in 2019. Avnish’s style of leadership is driven by technical and managerial excellence and resilience through uncertain times.

Avnish has a spirited management style and he believes that his strength lies in his team. He truly believes & dedicates his time into a holistic growth of the company.

During his time off, Avnish is an active cricket player and he loves to go on regular hikes with his little daughter. He has a natural love for cooking.
